Ecoslate Roofing Materials: Slate Colours

Slate is a natural product, as such variations will occur in texture, thickness and shading. Some slate has defined veining whist others are relatively consistant in colour. Slate is sourced from quarries around the world with different geology exhibiting individual features.
 
All slate used in the manufacture of EcoSlate Roofing Modules has passed testing to British Standard 680. Many are ASTM  (American Society Testing Materials) Grade S-1 quality ensuring durability and structural performance for a lifetime.

LCS Quarry “Black Velvet” “Black Velvet” slate colour

Rich deep charcoal in colour with a smooth velvet grain. Perfect for the contemporary architectural home.

Stonehills “ Colonial Grey” “ Colonial Grey” Slate Colour

Mid charcoal grey with a light textured surface suitable for most architectural styles.

Medium green/grey with a light textured surface suitable for most architectural styles.

Vermont “Grey/Black” “Grey/Black” Slate Colour

Mid charcoal grey with stylish lineal striations in grey/black texture throughout.

Medium green-grey tones with light hammered texture and grain. 10 to 25% will gradually show soft tone of buffs and tan.

All slate listed herein has been fully tested to French Standard P32-301 or American Standard S-1 or British Standard BS-680.

Whilst most corners are squarish in shape many corners may have rounding to about 50 cent piece size. This is to be considered nominal and normal. Without affecting the slates integrity some will exhibit slight flaking which is to be considered normal.

Colour depictions shown here are as close as printing allows. Slate is a natural product and colours will vary from time to time depending on the quarry, geology and region. Please choose carefully as no returns will be accepted.

Some colours/brands may not be in stock from time to time depending on shipment dates. Some are supplied on an order only basis so please allow sufficient lead time prior to the proposed roofing project installation.

All slate is imported from various countries around the world. As such rates and prices may change from time to time based on fluctuating exchange rates.
